ABOUT ME
My research uses a combination of theory and data to formalize the economics of education, equal opportunity, income inequality, and public economics discussions. My ideal paper would provide a formal model with a prediction to test in the data. I also enjoy talking to students, since they are always surprising. In case you're wondering, the picture in the right is from Russian futuristic imagination (my last non-academic interest, see Richard Stites), which includes utopian dreams based on technology.
